Top 5 upcoming bikes in India 2018 :

1. KTM 390 Adventurektm-adventure-1190-rear

  • Expected Launch Date: February 2018
  • Estimated Price: 1.70- 2.0 lakh

Adventure Bikes are rapidly gaining popularity among Indian youth. This factor highly stimulated the business strategy of KTM in India. It has planned to launch the latest model of sports bike for Indian motorcyclists, KTM 390 Adventure.

The KTM 390 will be first showcased at the EICMA show in Nov’17.It got an engine of 373 cc which is single-cylinder and liquid-cooled. It is likely to make 35-43 BHP and 35-40 Nm of torque.

It will be manufactured at Bajaj Factories here in India!

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 CCTop-5-upcoming-cars-in-India-royal-enfield-himalayan

  • Expected Launch Date: June 2018
  • Estimated Price: 3.5-4 lakh

“All-New” is the phrase perfectly suitable for upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan. We have selected it as one of the top 5 bikes in India in 2018 as it has pioneered in many design aspects i.e. rear mono-shock suspension, overhead cams instead of the old-style pushrod design, new double cradle chassis and counter-balance engine for a smoother drive.

The twin cylinder engine is also expected to be a brand new one with power of 28 bhp, 410 cc and 32 Nm torque. Its instrument panel will display two trip meters, compass and altitude reader. The adventure look will be revealed with raised front fender and dual sport tires.

3. Hero CBR300RTop-5-upcoming-cars-in-India-Hero-HX250R

  • Expected Launch Date: April 2018
  • Estimated Price: 2-2.23 lakh

This 300 cc stunner was first displayed in 2017 Auto Expo. With 30.4 BHP power and 27 Nm torque, this is considered to be the best offer from Hero in the sports bike segment. Hero motorcycle loyals were waiting for long to get six-speed transmission, they will be satisfied with Hero CBR300R.

Hero MotoCorp and Erik Buell Racing (EBR) mutually designed it to include a combi-brake system and anti-lock braking system. Hero has enhanced its sporty look with Dual-tone color theme. Will it be a successful replacement of Hero Karizma. ZMR? Well, let’s wait for few more of months.

  • Expected Launch Date: May/June 2018
  • Estimated Price: 1.60 lakh

Once again Bajaj has upgraded Pulsar, and this time it is 400 cc. With Pulsar RS400, they are offering a comfortable and sporty city ride in a very reasonable price range. This ABS enable bike will be powered by a 373.2 single cylinder, liquid cooled and 41 bhp engine.

This bike will use the engine of KTM. Certainly, Pulsar lover will see much power in reasonable price. 

This one is surely one of the strongest contenders for our list of upcoming bikes in India 2018.

5. Kawasaki ZX-10RR2018-Kawasaki-Ninja-ZX10RR

  • Expected Launch Date: August 2018
  • Estimated Price: 30-33 lakh

The Ninja ZX-10RR is the costliest bike in its segment, because of its multi-cylinder engine. But we can expect a load of features like Showa’s Balance Free Suspension and Brembo M50 brakes. Its 998 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine will provide updated KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter). It will allow clutchless upshifts and downshifts.

. It will be interesting to follow the fight between Kawasaki, KTM and Hero.
