1. Parth Samthaan :

First on the list is, Parth Samthaan. One of the youngest and most versatile Indian celebrities, Samthaan has gained a lot in an early age. No one ever thought he would become a teenage sensation with his role as Manik Malhotra in MTV India’s popular youth show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. His ‘Monster Manik’ character gained him much recognition and several fan followers on social media – truly, a benchmark of popularity. He has gone ahead to work in many successful television shows, including MTV College diaries, and will soon make his Bollywood debut.

2. Rajeev Khandelwal :

Then there is TV’s heartthrob, Rajeev Khandelwal. Starting his career with modelling for various brands, Rajeev shot to fame doing thriller series’ like Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat and Kahiin Toh Hoga. Ironically, he quit the show opting to go for an image makeover. Many said he was foolish for doing so, but by the time Aamir was released, he made his intentions clear. He was interested in content-driven cinema. He followed up the brilliant act with out-of-the-box flicks like Shaitan and Soundtrack. It paid off. His recent TV finite series Reporter was a craze among the teenagers.

3. Ram Kapoor :

Talk about the roost in Bollywood – the big man, Ram Kapoor. Touted as the biggest star in Bollywood, Kapoor has not only become one of the greatest small screen celebrities to rule the idiot box but also one of the best mainstream performer in Bollywood. Believe it or not, he parts with Rs 1.25 lakh per day.
Ronit Roy, another television actor who’s quite active in Bollywood nowadays, is also one of the finest actors. Began his career in movies and endured a long struggle doing various small jobs, but it was in televisions where he struck gold. He now runs a security business, providing security to most Bollywood stars and production houses.

4. Barun Sobti :

Actor Barun Sobti, became a popular star after the success of his television series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, gaining a huge online fan entourage. But, just like Rajeev, he left the show on a high note and never looked back as he joined Bollywood. In fact, he went ahead to be named the 3rd Sexiest Asian Man by UK magazine, Eastern Eye in 2013.

5. Sanaya Irani :

Other successful actors include: Sanaya Irani, whom people love the most on social media for all the different characters she portrays each time; and most in demand. She became the 3rd sexiest Asian woman in the UK magazine. She recently she got married and the news was trending more than two days in social media sites.
Drashti Dhami the actress who also got immense popularity from the mass for her popular roles she played. She’s also a good dancer who won the Indian TV reality show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa.
Well, I believe it’s never an actor, who is bigger than the show. Generally, actors become popular because of the characters in the script.
