Lady Gaga To Play Gucci Wife

Lady Gaga will play scandal-plagued Patrizia Reggiani, the wife of the heir to the Gucci fashion dynasty, in her next feature film. Reggiani served 18 years in an Italian prison for orchestrating the 1995 murder in Milan of her husband Maurizio Gucci. However, she was released from prison in 2016. Police dubbed her the Black Widow for one of the most scandalous high society crimes in Italian history.

Currently, Ridley Scott will direct and produce the film. However, the film currently doesn’t have a set date or title. Neither Gaga’s or Scott’s representatives responded to a request to comment. The film will be Lady Gaga’s first film since “A Star is Born”, which gave her an Oscar for best original song “Shallow” and a best actress nomination.

Grease Outfit Sells For $405,700

Olivia Newton-John’s iconic Grease outfit sold for $405,700 at a Beverly Hills charity auction on Saturday. This was more than double the expected price. Newton-John wore the jacket and pants in the final scene of the movie, where she transformed from innocent to sexy Sandy. The outfit was among one of the 500 other items sold to help her cancer treatment center in Australia.

The pants were so tight that Newton-John was sewn into them to film the scene. They also sold with a broken zipper. They didn’t reveal the buyer of the outfit. However, the auction raised nearly $2.5M for the treatment center. Many items related to Grease sold for more than their predicted value.

Cuba Gooding Jr Pleads Not Guilty

Actor Cuba Gooding Jr pleaded not guilty on Thursday to new charges of sexual misconduct involving a third woman. This comes less than a month after he pleaded not guilty to accusations of groping two different women. “We believe without question that the case is purely a case of malicious prosecution,” Mark Heller, a lawyer for Gooding, told reporters outside the courthouse.
